Mission Week is a designated week in second semester when classes are suspended and students are involved in a variety of enrichment and service activities.
- Freshmen: study the heritage of both the Sisters of Mercy and their Louisville community
- Sophomores: serve in community agencies and schools
- Juniors: have an immersion experience related to the annual Mission Week theme
- Seniors: participate in mission trips to several local, rural, and international sites.
Our mission, as it guides all of our programs, reflects our vision that our graduates will be socially responsible women committed to gospel living, lifelong learning, and a life of leadership and service in society. Our annual Mission Week project gives us the opportunity to reinforce these aspects in an innovative, educational experience. For the seventh year, we will suspend classes for one week to allow our students to participate in a vast array of educational experiences which will help them grow. They will be involved in a variety of exciting adventures in learning that will reinforce the importance of living and loving in community.
