In May 2005, the original gymnasium was renovated into a Performing and Fine Arts Center. It features a 295-seat theater with a thrust stage and art gallery space. It is used for student theater productions, musical concerts, student art displays, and for various presentations, assemblies, and guest speakers.

Assumption's student theater company is open to all students who enjoy drama. The company gives students an opportunity to develop their acting talent or technical skill through the rehearsal process. Performances give the students an opportunity to share their mastered skill with the community.

The AHS Music program holds choral and instrumental concerts in the winter and spring in the Performing and Fine Arts Center 2009-2010 concert dates:

• Christmas Choral Concert - December 10, 7:00 p.m.
• Christmas Instrumental Concert - December 15, 7:00 p.m.
